Tale
Charles, a retiree, gets a new chance at life when he answers an ad for a private investigator and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. A Man On The Inside also stars several actors from Brooklyn 99, including Stephanie Beatriz, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Eugene Cordero, and Marc Evan Jackson.
A remake of El agente topo (2020)
I’m 67 years old and it was great to see so many actors from our generation and their great comedic styles. These actors get better with age and are wonderfully cast in this sweet comedy series!
That’s okay because about halfway through you have a pretty good idea who the culprit is
The script gets a little lost trying to solve the mystery and delves more into the characters’ backstories. You don’t mind that it’s not a real mystery because you’re just having fun watching these old gold stars work and show off their stuff.
It’s really no mystery at all
Just a tribute to how brave it is to be a senior citizen and still be active and feel seen in our youth-oriented society. What a sweet tribute to those who support us and help us navigate the minefields of aging this series was.
