The opening credits show various photographic and painted vistas and landmarks of Oklahoma inserted into the landscape of New York City: A statue of the Sioux Indian chief “Touch the Clouds” wearing a war bonnet and bone breastplate inserted on the Brooklyn Bridge. The Western Gateway Arch of Route 66 inserted on one of Manhattan’s major “avenues”. In New York City, in the borough of Manhattan, there are several numbered “avenues”.

which are crisscrossed by smaller streets with smaller numbers.. I’ve always liked Stallone, over the years, yes he’s addicted to sequels, but has made some really entertaining films and sprinkled in a few classics along the way. In Tulsa King might well be his best work purely from an acting perspective, he plays the role of a mafia capo just stone cold.
Entertaining to watch, definitely worth a look
The series itself has an interesting story, it’s well written and makes full use of the humor of a New York gangster in Tulsa, Oklahoma without getting silly. Add in a healthy dose of violence, good scripts and dialogue, and a great cast of supporting actors and characters, and you have a winner.
